PROPOSED FACILITIES:

An extensive modern Deep Sea Port with capacity to handle the largest container ships, car carriers, roro, vessels bulk carriers, general and specialized cargo vessels has been conceived as an integrated milti-purpose facility to be cited within the zone. This Deep Sea Port will have facilities for more than 125 shipping lines.

                        The zone will have space allotment for:

• State of the art haulage handling equipments
• Private sector port management
• Bonded storage Warehouses
• Oil and Gas processing zone for LNG/LPG Plants, Refineries and Petrochemicals, etc.

• Fabrication/ Machine tools and Equipment area.
• Airstrip
• Helipad
• Residential and Recreational area
• Multipurpose Port complex, complete with breakwater inland harbour, including other structures required to provide protection against swell from the Atlantic Ocean
